Depending on our clients’ business model we offer different types of workflow.

  1. FOR FREELANCERS AND SMALL AGENCIES

If the account owner is a freelancer or an agency who has translators only in its staff, we offer the simplest workflow: new orders are sent directly from the client to the translator and completed ones – from the translator to the client

In this case in agency settings (1) please choose the set of preferences (2 and 3) as below.

If the agency has more than 1 active translator, the client can be allowed to choose the specific translator for a certain order (4). Otherwise, all orders will appear in one poll where they can be taken to work by any translator.

2. FOR AGENCIES WITH “MANAGER” USER TYPE

This type of workflow is for agencies that use manager(s) who distribute orders between translators. New orders are received by the manager(s), who send an order to a certain translator. After the order is done, the client receives it directly from the translator.

In this case in agency settings (1) please choose the set of preferences (2 and 3) as below.

3. FOR AGENCIES WITH “CONTROLLER” USER TYPE

If the agency has staff members who check and edit completed orders before sending it to a client, it can use this type of workflow. First, the new order goes straight from the client to the translator but once it is done the controller user receives it. And only after the controller’s review, the completed order is sent to the customer.

If the agency has more than 1 active translator, the client can be allowed to choose the specific translator for a certain order (4). Otherwise, all orders will appear in one poll where they can be taken to work by any translator.

4. FOR AGENCIES THAT HAVE BOTH “MANAGERS” AND “CONTROLLERS”

According to this workflow, the order goes first from the client to the manager, who resends it to a certain translator. After the translation is done, the order goes to the controller to be checked and then to the customer.
